Questions about Tejasrecords? Email us and we'll get back to you.
Before You Write to Us
We read every message that comes in, and a little context helps us reply faster and more usefully. If you are writing about a specific review or guide, tell us which page you were reading and what caught your attention. A short note like "the section on sleeve wear in the grading guide" saves a lot of back-and-forth.
What we are happy to hear about
- Corrections. Pressing details, catalogue numbers, track credits and release history are easy to get wrong. If you spot an error, let us know what it is and, if you can, how you know. Matrix runout etchings and label photos are especially helpful.
- Questions about collecting. Not sure how to judge a record in a crate or whether a scratch will play through? Our pages on record grading and buying your first used record may already answer it. If they don't, ask us. Good questions often become new guides.
- Album and artist suggestions. We like hearing about records that deserve a closer listen, whether that means overlooked reissues, regional scenes or debut albums that slipped past most people.
- General feedback. Tell us what is useful, what is confusing, and what you would like to see more of.
A few things to know
Tejasrecords is an independent site about listening and collecting. We don't sell records, run a shop, or appraise collections for sale. For valuations of rare or valuable items, a specialist dealer or an established record fair is the better place to start. We also can't help with orders or shipping from other sellers, so please contact them directly.
If you are an artist or label and would like us to hear something, a brief introduction with a little background and a listening link works best. We can't promise coverage, but we do listen. Replies can take a few days, especially when the inbox is busy, so thank you for your patience.
